"Lattice simulation of 2-dimensional super Yang-Mills"

Numerical simulation based on lattice regularization is a powerful non- perturbative tool for the quantum field theory. Thanks to recent development of formulation, now simulation of supersymmetric gauge theory is possible. In this seminar, I will present some results for 2-dimensional N=(2,2) super Yang-Mills theory. First we confirm that the supersymmetry, which is broken at finite lattice spacing, is in fact realized in the continuum limit. And then we measure the vacuum energy, which is important to observe spontaneous SUSY breaking if any in this system.
