Online Databases 


 
 
These electronic bibliographic services, providing references to books, articles, dissertations and reports, are accessible in different ways.
The most important databases of general interest are supported on the netwok of  the University of Parma; other ones, of more specific interest, may be consulted in different libraries.
Here you can see the general list of all the databases you may access  in our University; you can also look at the subject list and at the online databases list
The online databases are available or via the Silver Platter ERL server or via the Tatoo server, hosted by the Electronic Computing Center of our University, via Isi Web of Knowledge and Scifinder Scholar  or via Elsevier Scopus.
These databases are accessible from any computer connected to the University of Parma network and are password controlled.
Passwords are issued from the Electronic Computing Center to teaching, research and administrative staff of the University of Parma; personal passwords are not issued to current students, who must use the libraries ones, asking them to the librarians.
