Wild Officinal-Plant Reasonable Development and Continual Utilization of Qing-Tibet Plateau

1.Foundation of project

Qing-Tibet plateau owns capacious region, compound hypsography, different altitude in different region, presents different climate status, possess abound plant category, especially west of china is one of region which owns more plant category. According to collection sample and information, there are 2085 kinds of plants have be named as Tibet-medicine including 50 kinds fungus, 46 kinds of lichen, 5 kinds of muskeg, 1895 kinds of angiosperm etc.. Furthermore, there are 159 kinds of animal-medicine and 50 kinds of mineral-medicine.

First characteristic of medicine-material resource of Qing-Tibet plateau is lots of rare-medicine material and high storage of wild medicine resource. Second characteristics is that Tibet-medicine present more superiority. Third characteristic is most category have not been developed and utilized. China is such a country which apply and consume most officinal-plant resource in the world. How to deal with the event that protecting and continual-using officinal-plant resource of china will make a important demonstration for the world.

Blind collecting and digging officinal-plant make serious destroying to Chinese-tradition-medicine resource and ecological environment. To renew destroyed wild-resource and its growth environment is very difficult. Therefore, we can not start to protect these plants until these plants be in severe danger, in order to keep continual development of Chinese medicine-industry, we should start resource estimate before initial explore and utilize every kind of wild officinal-plant and research reasonable explore and utilization policy.

2. Content of the research

1、Investigation and research of distributing, resource, severe-danger extent , exploring and utilization status of wild officinal-plant in Qing-Tibet plateau.

2、Renewing or manual-planting research of part wild officinal-plant resource which be needed largely.

3、Component analysis and pharmacological research of part wild officinal-plant which presented high officinal-value.

4、Resource renewing method and reasonable-development and utilization research of wild officinal-plant resource.

Purpose of the research

1、Understanding distributing, resource-quantity, severe-danger extent, explore and utilization status of wild officinal plant on Qing-Tibet plateau, provide protection measure and reasonable development and utilization pathway according to plant ecology character.

2、Wild officinal plant resource renew scheme and manual-planting technology regulations.

3、Providing primary information for chief goal how to preserve wild officinal plant resource and continual utilize these wild officinal plant resource of Qing-Tibet plateau.
