Office activities programme in 2005

Meetings, workshops and courses on programme are :

  1. Euro-chinese Forum on Science with the participation of italian scientific managers, on May 12th-13th.
  2. Course for researchers on Quality system in  agro-food production, Kunming (Yunnan), from May 31st to June 6th 2005.
  3. International Conference on Cosmic Rays , organized by  INFN and  IHEP in Yangbajing (Xizang), July 2005.

  4. Training course in Colposcopy  for young doctors of provincial hospitals, October 2005.

  5. Workshop on  sustainable wood production , at Academy of Forestry, Beijing, September 2005.

  6. Italian-chinese meeting on Optics (Italian society of Optics and Photonics, Chinese Optics Society and some industrial partners), end of August 2005.

  7. Course on Membrane Application, organized by CNR and Chinese Membrane Industry Association.

  8. Meeting on Fuel Cells, organised by ENEA and Tsinghua University.

  9. MOST suggests a meeting on technology research in textile industry in Ningbo (Zhejiang) . To be defined.

Except for these activities, referring to a message of  MAE on « Sinergy with Italian Cultural Institutes », this S&T Office contacted  Prof. Roberto Fieschi and Dr. Marco Bianucci of INFM for organizing a meeting at the Beijing Association for S&T and a workshop on multimedial techniques in teaching sciences. October-November 2005


Other long-term activities planned for the whole year:

A)

Exchange of thesis in technical-scientific field among Universities (in a view of promotion for studying in Italy)

B)

Developement of activities of techinical and scientific consulting organized by ISES in Italy and SAFEA in China

C)

The start of a project of IULM and the Chinese Academy of Social Science on a sociological study about Sustainable Tourism. This activity is coordinated by UTL (Italian Cooperation Office). They suggest a promotion of chinese tourism in mountain areas as well as italian tourism in western countryside. 

D)

The Cancer Foundation planned a study on the feasibility and the prevention costs of cervical carcinoma, in collaboration with some italian experts in China and a chinese researcher in Italy for some mounths.
