Parma Workshop on Numerical Relativity and Gravitational Waves 2011
September 7th-9th, Parma (Italy)

We are pleased to announce that a three days workshop on Numerical Relativity and Gravitational Waves will be held at the Centro S. Elisabetta of the University of Parma,  organized by the local numerical relativity group and  with the support  of  INFN and the  Physics Department of the University of Parma.

The workshop is mainly aimed at bringing together European scientists working in the field, for discussing "hot" topics, sharing ideas, and establishing future lines of research and collaborations. The character of the meeting will be informal and relaxed in order to encourage open discussions. Talks will cover a quite broad area: binary black holes and neutron stars simulations, mathematical advances, computational methods, and interface between numerical and analytical methods.

The workshop is fee-free. Unfortunately, we will not be able to cover local and/or travel expenses. Information on how to reach Parma and hotels can be found on our Local Info web page.

For furher information or register your participation please send and e-mail to the conference e-mail address or to a member of the local organizing committee. The local organizing committee is composed by Sebastiano Bernuzzi, Roberto De Pietri and Alessandra Feo.
