S. Elisabetta Conference Center
The workshop will be held at the S. Elisabetta Conference Center located
in the Scientific Campus of the University of Parma.
The University Campus, where the S. Elisabetta conference
center is located, also host the Faculty of Sciences and the department of Physics. In the whole area
is available the WiFi network UNIPR, a Caffeteria and a Bar (Look for Baia Blue).
The Campus is easily reachable by means of public transportation (bus n. 7 or 14 or 21,
direction "Università Sud") from downtown and the train station. The most direct and
easy connection is using Bus line 21 just hooping off at the final stop (``Università Sud'').
The lane is operated every 15 minutes from 6:30am to 8:00pm

Travel Information
Parma is centrally located in the north of Italy half way between Milano (Milan) and Bologna.
The best way to reach Parma is arriving by plane in one of the Milano area airports (Malpensa (MXP),
Linate (LIN) or Bergamo (Orio al Serio) or Bologna airport (BLQ). Transfer time between Malpensa and
Bergamo airport to Parma is around three hours and from Bologna and Linate two hours.
A low-cost connection London (STD)-Parma (PMF) is provided by ryanair.
About Parma
Parma is a medium size city with a rich history, founded as a
Roman colony in 183 BC

the 11th
century, is one of Italy's oldest universities. It
currently has about 30,000 students. Perhaps Parma is most famous
for its food: the renowned "Parmigiano Reggiano" cheese
and the "Prosciutto di Parma" (Parma ham).
